What CAN'T our dogs do! In a journey to find more and more ways to enrich our lives and that of our dogs, we decided to get them involved in surfing. Seeing as Brian and I surf so much, embarking on this activity with our dogs would seem like a no brainer. In actuality, with cold water and frightening waves, we wanted to make sure our dogs were excellent swimmers before getting them into the surf. Things could not have gone better on our first outing. Brian rented a large longboard and accompanied with the one I currently had, we were off. Both Coop and Raglan came out into the water immediately and were excited to be at the beach. Brian had a pretty good ride going until some kook longboarder freaked Coop out and he jumped off the nose. Raglan had a great performance, locking in some decent rides with all the guys, and even pulling off a solo cruiser at the end of the session. Snow, Forests, Beaches, Surf..... stay tuned, there's nothing our dogs can't do.
